The Indian coast guard has stated online application for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik for the February 2021 batch on its official website: https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/.
A total of 358 vacancies are available under each branch.
The candidates have to pay Rs. 250 for online application but SC/ST are exempted from paying the application fees and the admit card will be available 10 days before stage-I.
Candidates have to pass an online exam, physical fitness, and document verification for selection in various posts. The basic training will commence in August for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik and Navik (Domestic Branch) training will commence in October 2021 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training.
Tentative Indian Coast Guard 2021 Exam Dates
The tentative stage-I exam for Navik (General Duty and Domestic Branch) and Yantrik can be in mid-March 2021, Tentative Stage-II Exam Dates for Navik (General Duty and Domestic Branch) & Yantrik can be in April or May 2021, Tentative Stage-III Exam Dates for Navik (General Duty) & Yantrik can be in early August 2021 and Tentative Stage-III Exam Dates for Navik (Domestic Branch) can be in early October 2021.

Salary Details of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021
- Basic pay for the post of Navik: Rs. 21, 700 plus DA and other allowances
- Basic pay for the post of Yantrik: Rs. 47, 600 plus Rs. 6, 200 DA and other allowances.
