Flights operated by Air India under Vande Bharat Mission

The Centre commenced the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ on May 6 to support abandoned due to the novel coronavirus pandemic enter their destinations via worldwide repatriation flights.

According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, 13,024 repatriation flights were regulated by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till January 3, carrying over 17.35 lakh passengers. Of these, 6,510 were inbound flights holding up 10,56,103 passengers and 6,514 were outbound flights with 6,79,625 fliers. The mission is presently in Phase 8, which will go on until March 28, 2021.
