IMDb’s top 10 highest rated movies of 2020 on Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Hotstar

7. LOOTCASE – DISNEY+ HOTSTAR | IMDb rating: 7.6

One of the first rare films to broadcast digitally in India, this year, on Disney+ Hotstar, Lootcase discloses the fallout of Nandan Kumar (played by Kunal Kemmu), a middle-class man who overhauls devices at a printing press, arriving at a massive red bag served with tons of cash. His fateful finding of the bag kicks off a maddening hunt – Kumar is being hustled by a policeman, who’s being tracked down by a diplomat, who’s being searched by his boss to catch all that moolah – which halts on a jovial note.

Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium brings out the endearing connection between a father (played by late Irrfan Khan) and his daughter (played by Radhika Madan), who’s hell-bent on fleeing her hometown in Rajasthan to seek higher education from London’s Truford University. And, despite their monetary efforts, he’s not only able to send her to London but also looks after her!

9. MANK – NETFLIX | IMDb rating: 7.2

Directed by David Fincher, Mank featuring Academy Award Winner Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins and Arliss Howard, among others reevaluates the existence of drunken screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he scrambles to complete “Citizen Kane.” It’s an extremely appealing watch.

In spite of its lazy momentum, The Devil All The Time, directed by Antonio Campos, is among Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson’s nicest accomplishments of the year.  The story entertains us to numerous wicked personalities.
