The current year’s release of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2020) and the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) won’t be delayed, the Government of India has affirmed. Secretary of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development Amit Khare stated, “NEET 2020 won’t be delayed. The Supreme Court has provided an exceptionally clear request.”
NEET 2020 is booked for September 13 while the JEE Mains is to be held between September 1 to September 6. Both of these tests have been delayed various occasions because of the continuous coronavirus pandemic.
Prior this week, the Supreme Court excused an appeal looking for the deferment of NEET and the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) planned to be held in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
