Britain’s Sikh philanthropic organization Khalsa Aid has been nominated by two Canadian lawmakers for the Nobel Peace Prize. British MP Tim Uppal and Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria said that the Khalsa Aid provides humanitarian aid in disaster-hit areas and countries prone to civil war worldwide. Explain that Khalsa Aid is accused of having links with Khalistani terrorists in India. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating it.

The international NGO Khalsa Aid helps people worldwide during disasters like floods, earthquakes, wars. At present, during the Delhi movement, Singhu and Tikari Border, Khalsa Aid, have given considerable help to the protesting farmers. Khalsa Aid was founded by Ravinder Singh of Indian origin in 1999, looking at Kosovo refugees’ situation. Khalsa Aid claims that it has assisted humans and people during natural disasters.

Khalsa Aid India, which has been registered as a charitable trust, has been helping since the first day of the farmers’ movement on the Singhu and Tikari borders. On Monday, Kanadai MP Tim Uppal announced on Twitter that Khalsa Aid had been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2021. US President Donald Trump is also a contender for the Nobel Peace Prize this year. Khalsa Aid is active in India, Canada, and Australia, in addition to the UK. Khalsa Aid said that she felt very humble after being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Kisan Mall (Kisan Mall) has been opened on Tikri and Singhu border to meet the daily needs of farmers agitating against the Center’s agricultural laws. Khalsa is running an ad in malls. Here farmers are being given the goods they need for free. Farmers are getting items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, oil, shampoos, combs, sanitary pads, undergarments. Along with this, goods like geysers and washing machines can also be found for free for large farmers.

Khalsa Aid people said that they are getting help from all over the country to operate this mall. The National Investigation Agency of India has started an investigation against Khalsa Aid. Khalsa Aid is accused of having links with the controversial US-based organization Sikh for Justice. The Sikhs for Justice supports Khalistani terrorist activities in India. Social media users have expressed surprise at Khalsa Ed’s nomination, accused of having links with the Khalistanis, for the Nobel Prize.
