Kangana Ranaut seems to be unfazed after a Bandra metropolitan court ordered an FIR against her and her sister, Rangoli Chandel, for allegedly ‘trying to create hatred and communal tension’. She tweeted pictures of herself dressed up for the Navratri celebrations and said that the ‘Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing’ over her.
“Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today’s celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon #Navratri,” the actor wrote on Twitter.

Deshmukh pointed out to the Advocate General how Ranaut has been putting up statements and comments on her twitter handle against the government, government agencies and the judiciary in a derogatory manner. He added that Ranaut had been putting up statements with “malafide intentions and ulterior notices of creating an atmosphere of hatred in the country amongst different religious groups”. He remarked that “every Indian citizen has got the right to freedom of speech and not the freedom of ‘hate’ speech.”
Deshmukh informed the AG that he had approached the Mumbai police on two occasions seeking their cognizance against the malicious acts of Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel in spreading religious hatred and enmity. However, the police station had refused to register FIRs against them, which is why he was compelled to file criminal complaint against Ranaut in the Andheri Court. He had brought to the Metropolitan Magistrate’s attention too that “Ranaut is committing criminal contempt of court by terming the judiciary as Pappu Sena.”
