BTech Colleges in Delhi/NCR: Eligibility Criteria

1)IIT Delhi 

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), founded in 1961 as the College of Engineering in Delhi, was designated as a “Institution of National Significance” and changed its name to reflect this. After then, it received the designation of Deemed University. According to the NIRF Rankings 2022, IIT Delhi is rated 2 and 4 in the areas of “Engineering” and “Overall,” respectively. In addition to these rankings, the institute received a 4 in the NIRF 2022’s “Management” category. There are 19 Centers of Excellence inside IITD, of which four were established by IIT Delhi, eight by industry, and seven by sponsored projects. The institute currently provides over 85 courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Six different schools and 16 departments within IITD are responsible for delivering these courses. A new extension campus for IIT Delhi has been established in Sonipat, and a second one will shortly be opening in Jhajjar, Haryana.

2)Amity University Noida

Amity University Noida now offers more than 100 programs in a variety of fields, including engineering, science, arts, commerce, management, design, law, and many others. The university also provides distance learning programs through its Online and Distance Learning Schools in addition to full-time programs. Amity Noida has altered the admissions procedure for a number of UG and PG programs. Amity Noida provides entrance- and direct-entry admission. In addition to passing legitimate entrance exams like the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or NMAT, admission to MBA programs is also granted based on students’ merit performance. 3)Jamia Millia Islamia

All remaining courses at DTU are admitted mostly based on scores from national/university-level entrance tests including UCEED, GATE, CAT, MAT, and CMAT, among others. Nonetheless, there are a few MBA-specific courses and a BBA program that give admission based on a previous qualifying exam (undergraduate level), followed by an interview stage. The University School of Management and Entrepreneurship, commonly known as the DTU East Delhi Campus, and the Delhi School of Management are all located on the DTU campus (DSM). Together, they provide undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, design, science, and management.

5)Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi

PhD rolling admissions are available all year long. Using the Institute’s official website, interested applicants can check it out and submit an application. At the IIIT Delhi placements 2022, a total of 140 firms visited the campus and 730 offers, including full-time and intern offers, were offered. Also, the highest domestic and overseas package during IIITD placements in 2022 was INR 47 LPA and INR 183.94 LPA, respectively. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi’s 2022 placements also saw an average package offered of INR 19.76 LPA. 98.10% of applicants were placed during the IIIT Delhi placements in 2022.

6)Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, also known as IP University (or IPU), provides UG, PG, and PhD studies through more than 150 courses in over 15 fields. The university has the IPU CET as its official entry and scholarship test. Depending on the program, qualifying exam results or entrance tests are used to determine admission to UG, PG, and PhD programs at IP University.

7)Netaji Subhas University of Technology 

Formerly known as NSIT Delhi, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in technology and management. National entrance exams are used as the basis for NSIT admission. There are 32 full-time courses offered by NSIT Delhi’s 11 departments. Accenture, Birla soft, HCL, Honda, Birla, Honeywell, IBM, Google, BPCL, Hero MotoCorp, Amazon, Microsoft, Texas Instrument, Cisco, and other leading firms attend NSIT placement. The typical NSIT salary ranges from Rs. 7 to 7.5 LPA.

8)Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida

B Tech, M Tech, and five-year integrated B Tech-M Tech programs are all available at the Noida-based Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT). In the NIRF (MHRD) 2016 ranking of private engineering institutes, the institution is ranked first in the NCR and third in North India. JIIT is ranked 60th out of all government and private engineering schools in India.

9)The North Cap University (NCU)

The North Cap University (NCU), formerly known as ITM University, is a self-financed, multidisciplinary university that has been approved by the UGC and is situated in Gurugram, Haryana. In accordance with the Haryana Private Universities Act of 2009, it was created by the Haryana State Assembly. In India, NCU was ranked 59th by Outlook in 2019 and was granted 1 position in Delhi & Haryana. UG, PG, and doctoral level programs are currently offered by the university, and the official website has the application forms for admission for the academic year 2021–2022.
