Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu has tested positive for Covid -19 during a standard
test, his office said in a tweet tonight. The 71-year-old, who is in home isolation, is
“asymptomatic and healthy”, the tweet read.

“The Vice President of India who went through a routine COVID-19 test today morning has been
tested positive. He is in any case, asymptomatic and healthy. He has been prompted to isolate
himself. His better half Smt. Usha Naidu has been tried negative and is in self-seclusion,” the
tweet from his office read.
