MG Motor to Launch its New Electric Car in India for Less than Rs 20 Lakhs

MZ Upcoming Electric Car: The growing demand for electric vehicles in India has given companies a new impetus to enter the segment. Due to this, new vehicles are ready to launch in this segment.  Seeing the interest of customers, MG Motors has already launched an electric car in India. After which the company is now preparing to launch its new electric car in the market.

The special thing here is that the company will keep the price of this upcoming car extremely low.  It will cost less than Rs 20 lakhs. According to a media report, Rajiv Chhaba, President and Managing Director of the company has confirmed this. That the work has been started on the assembly facility of the battery used in this car.

Price will be at least: The battery of this car will be manufactured in India, so that the price of the car can be kept to a minimum.  For information, the British carmaker plans to set up its own battery facility assembly plant before the end of 2021 and has set a target to start operations in 2022. The company will invest more than Rs 4,000 crore to set up a battery assembling facility.

500km will run in a single charge: Currently MG is testing an electric car with a range of 500 km under different terrain and climatic conditions.  While the car manufacturer is yet to disclose product details.  If you believe the report, MG Motor India is also working on a cheap electric car, which will cost less than Rs 10 lakh.  At the moment there is no information about the upcoming cheap MG electric car.  More information about the upcoming affordable MG electric car is likely to be revealed in the future.
