After seeing a popup message of the new WhatsApp policy most of the users are worried and confused regarding their data privacy. As per the new Whatsapp policy, your data will be stored on Whatsapp and will be shared to Facebook and Instagram.
You will not be able to use Whatsapp and any of its services if you don’t agree to the policy before 8th February 2021. So, accept the policy before 8th February if you want to continue using Whatsapp.
“WhatsApp must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services,” WhatsApp’s new Terms of Service and privacy policy.
‘The company is working hard to merge Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp so that they can start to function a little bit more like one connected interoperable system,” said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
In 2019, the CEO of Telegram claimed that WhatsApp would never be safe after a massive security flaw with the privacy of 1.5 billion users. “WhatsApp has a consistent history – from zero encryption at its inception to a succession of security issues strangely suitable for surveillance purposes,” Telegram CEO Pavel Durov
Apple’s privacy labels update has revealed that Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp store more data of the users. The data of Facebook, WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram have been revealed, after Apple asked all the app on its App Store to declare information related to data store.
